DonnerFeld is a handsome and talented 16.2+H chestnut Hanoverian gelding by Don Principe (Donnerhall) out of Elite Mare Whitney BH by Welser (Wolkenstein II). He has a blaze and irregular socks on his left front and left hind. Donnerfeld has an extremely sweet, engaging and layback temperament, excellent conformation and an exceptional work ethic. DonnerFeld has excellent dressage gaits including a swinging walk with 14" over-track, an extremely smooth canter demonstrating freedom of movement and a clear uphill trot. DonnerFeld is very balanced, easy to ride, light in the bridle, easy to collect and has wonderful lateral movement. He was started under saddle as a three-year-old and is in full dressage training with his young horse dressage trainer, Julie Cochran. He is a candidate for upper level dressage and would make an excellent adult amateur or young rider dressage partner due to his 'perfect gentleman' manners. DonnerFeld enjoys variety including hacking alone or with companions and jumping low fences.Update as of Oct.2010: DonnerFeld completed his 2010 dressage show season with a high score of 76.8% in Training Level, 70% in 1st Level and will be ready to show 2nd Level in early 2011. DonnerFeld is currently schooling changes, perfecting his lateral work and is demonstrating himself to be very trainable.
