Whitney BH is a beautiful Elite Hanoverian Mare by Welser (Wolkenstein II) out of SPS Arabella by Achenbach. She was born in Germany and imported as a weanling filly by our good friend, Susan Locke of Blueberry Hill. We purchased Whitney in 2004 in foal and prepared her for her Mare Performance Test. She passed her MPT in October 2005 with an overall score of 7.16 to achieve her Elite Mare status.

Whitney is a 16.2H bay with a blaze and 3 socks. She has an incredibly sweet personality, loves her dressage work and is a loving brood mare. She has very powerful gaits with suspension which earned her a qualification for the 2004 USDF Breeders Championship and 1st place in her dressage materiale class in 2005.

Whitney has produced several exceptional foals to date (see production record below). Four of her offsping to date have placed in the Top 10 in the USDF Breeders Championship Horse of the Year. Two of her offspring have been selected for Young Horse Symposiums featuring Scott Hassler, the USEF Young Horse Dressage Coach.
