The breeding objective of High Valley Hanoverians is to produce exceptional European quality sport horses with mild temperament and superior trainability and well-suited for adult amateur dressage and hunter equitation. The HVH broodmares are the foundation to meeting this objective.
Each of our broodmares has superior bloodlines, conformation, gaits and mild temperament. We match these elite mares with some of the finest Hanoverian stallions in Germany and the USA. The producing mares are all Elite or SPS Hanoverian mares.
Whitney BH is a lovely Elite Hanoverian Mare by Welser (Wolkenstein II) out of SPS Arabella by Achenbach. She was born in Germany and imported as a weanling filly. High Valley Hanoverians purchased Whitney in 2004 in foal and prepared her for her Hanoverian Mare Performance Test which she passed in 2005 with an overall score of 7.16 to achieve her Elite Mare status.

Wruffian Q is an exceptional Elite Hanoverian Mare by Weltbekannt (Weltmeyer) out of Elite Mare Fifth Avenue Q by Wertherson. Wruffian was bred by Suzanne Quarles of Someday Soon Farm in Maryland and passed her Mare Performance Test in 2004 with an overall score of 7.33. High Valley Hanoverians purchased Wruffian in 2005 in foal.
