Winslette is a bay Oldenburg mare by Wallstreet Kid (Warkant) out of Oldenburg mare Mazurka by Mannhattan. Winslette is a sturdy type with powerful & correct uphill movement with exceptional balance. She is bay with two rear socks, a crescent shaped star and a teardrop nose splash. Winslette has a confident, curious temperament and a very steady demeanor under saddle. She has a willing / forgiving work ethic and is an excellent candidate for an Adult Amateur or Young Rider. As a long 3 year old, Winslette was leased to an Adult Amateur who needed a few months with a confidence builder before she was ready to re-mount her older, much more spirited horse. Winslette has 3 nice gaits suitable for dressage, shows an interest and aptitude for jumping and is quiet and confident on trails or cross country. She would make an exceptional dressage, hunter or eventing prospect for an adult amateur or young rider.

Update as of Mar.2012: Winslette has been in training with a professional Young Horse Trainer since she was backed in the summer of 2010. She demonstrates three very nice, balanced gaits under saddle, plus a very mild, trainable temperament suitable for an Adult Amateur or Young Rider. As a rising 5 year old, she is 16.1H and very near her mature height. She is currently schooling 1st Level Dressage and confident and quiet over 2'6" jumps. She is one of our most confident trail horses and suitable for Adult Amateur or Young Riders.
