Fiona is a powerful gray Oldenburg Mare by Fuerst Gotthard out of Oldenburg Mare Mazurka by Mannhattan. Fiona has a sweet, engaging, yet bold temperament, excellent conformation and very trainable / interested in her work. She has an excellent uphill trot gait, freedom of movement in the shoulder and is developing a powerful canter.

Fiona is balanced, light in the bridle and responsive to the aids. She was started as a 3 year old and trained in dressage for 16 months with her young horse trainer, Julie Cochran, to develop her fundamentals and flat work. Subsequently she embarked on her Eventing career under the guidance of eventing trainer, Dean Graham. With her bold, trainable temperament, powerful gaits and jumping talent, Fiona will make an excellent adult amateur or young rider Eventing partner.Update as of Dec.2010: Fiona completed her first three USEA events in Oct-Nov.2010 as a Beginner Novice. She is demonstrating excellent potential in cross-country and stadium jumping and receiving 7's on her gaits in dressage. She will continue development during the winter months and will show in USEA at Novice level in 2011 and potentially a debut in Hunter/Jumper equitation. Pricing will increase with training and show experience.
