Don Frederic HVH is a handsome dark bay Hanoverian gelding by Don Frederico (Donnerhall) out of Elite Mare Wruffian Q by Weltbekannt (Weltmeyer). He has no facial markings and 4 white socks. Don Frederic (aka "Freddy") has exceptional gaits, freedom of movement and suspension that enable him to truly float across the arena. He has a puppy dog personality and very trainable with presence. He was shown in USDF Breed Shows as a foal where he earned 8th place (in the USA) for the USDF Horse of the Year in 2008.

Update as of Feb.2012: Don Frederic HV was gently started in Spring 2011 and has been in training with the High Valley Hanoverians resident Young Horse Trainer since that time. His training program includes dressage foundation, hill work on mountain trails, cavaletti gymnastics and combined training in large gently rolling fields adjacent to the dressage arena. He is demonstrating movement and trainability that should make him an exceptional upper level dressage prospect.
