Faolan is a striking 2004 Hanoverian gelding by Feinbrand out of Elite Mare Whitney BH by Welser. He is an eye-catching flaxen chestnut sabino with three stockings to the knee, a wide and unusual blaze, bilateral belly splashes (one of which is horseshoe shaped) and ticking throughout his coat. Faolan has exceptional conformation, breath-taking gaits and an engaging personality. He has the athleticism, gaits, intellect and work ethic to become an outstanding dressage athlete.
Accomplishments:
2004: USDF Breeders Series Qualifier, Hanoverian IBC class winner (20 in class), and 7th place in the USDF Foal Colt Division (national award) .
2005: USDF Breeders Series Qualifier, 5th Place USDF Regional Breeders Series Final, Hanoverian IBC class winner (19 in class)
2006: Two breed show scores >80% and finished 10th place in the USDF 2yo Colt Division (national award).
After finishing a great 2006 breed show season, Faolan completed two weeks of free jumping schooling, then two months off and is now training in Free Reining and intial backing, which Faolan will demonstrate at a Young Horse Symposium featuring Scott Hassler on Apr.7.2007.
